STORIES FROM THE SANCTUARY!

GREEN!!!  My world is green and it makes my heart sing!  After today's walk about 5 minutes from my house, I was rejuvenated and could fully feel the pulse of life around me.  Everything was just strikingly alive - the valley meadow, the hillsides, the swift flow of the run-off in the irrigation ditch - and me too!  I had that sense of oneness that I can forget sometimes.  That I was a part of this powerful world around me.  
 
In the current world economy, I've been noticing how many teachers are focusing on skills and tools to shift our awareness.  Perhaps it took the fear that's being spread around about the economy and the hardships that some are feeling, to raise our attention to look at just what our little minds can do to us.  I'm not immune.  I certainly have had moments where I've been caught in the sticky web of feeling powerless and that there's 'not enough'.
